After consultation, it was agreed that the toilets should be located between the south porch and transept in an extension. Permission was granted to form a doorway from the church, after an archaeological investigation proved that the wall was not pure medieval. The extension is a simple, single storey design with a flint face which links the church's two medieval extensions unobtrusively.
