The new five-storey wall divides the hostel from the church and uses proportions similar to those of the existing arches. The hostel, a modern, five-storey steel-framed structure, providing flats and shared communal rooms, is a striking blend of construction techniques. The original architectural features have been successfully retained including stone arches, stained glass windows and carved angels.
