The new extension at Barton Court Grammar School accommodates a library and also the 6th form common room. Located in a pretty garden to the rear of the Victorian listed school house, the Local Authority initially favoured a 'Victorian style' conservatory. However, our design (left) for a pavilion comprising steel columns, structural glazing and a curved terned steel roof was supported enthusiastically by English Heritage. Other projects include a new language block and science block.
