New £4m Phase 2 wing offers superb facilities for media and visual arts students with studios for art, design and photography, a dark room, digital photography suite plus film and media labs. Architecturally simple in form the core elements of the new building provide a solid backdrop upon which the secondary elements, dance studios, entrance drum, stair and lift are placed. The low energy and carbon usage building has highly insulated walls and natural ventilation systems.
