The Glulam beams, visible throughout the internal structure add character to the main hall, corridor spaces, classrooms, and at the radial ends of the building where the ceiling follows the slope of the roof. The pitched cross section provides increased height within the classrooms which assists in meeting the new Building Regulations relating to acoustic performance. The overall feeling of space creates a comfortable and reassuring learning environment for the young children.
