Tranche 1 nurseries were designed for Kent County Council and used subsequently as a blueprint for nursery design county-wide.  A key feature of each scheme is the principal  frame, a softwood gluelam modular structure which is expressed both internally and externally. Large windows flood the interior with daylight and bespoke, scaled down joinery and fixtures are used to create a friendly and comfortable environment for the children.
