This 'family' of three nurseries provides sessional care for children of two to five. Child height porthole windows and vision panels, and bespoke scaled down joinery respond to the children's physical needs. The use of colour, daylight and the overall feeling of space and calm provides for their spiritual needs. The buildings employ largely natural materials and the principal frame is a softwood gluelam modular structure expressed both internally and externally.
