The site was initially a major constraint as at 1.6 acres it is small for a school of this size. It also has a steep gradient, falling 11 metres from south to north and a discernable plateau separating the bottom half from the top half.

Our solution was a contemporary split level building which literally hugs the hillside as its footprint follows the middle contour of the site.
