Beaufort, a beachfront development of luxury apartments, consists of two contemporary buildings. ctmarchitects LLP was commissioned to design and gain planning approval for the scheme and Lee Evans Partnership to deliver the detailed design. The development occupies a sensitive site, in a Conservation Area, just 30m from Scheduled Ancient Monument, Sandgate Castle. The scheme capitalises on the site’s spectacular views over the English Channel and responds sympathetically to its historic setting.
