This combined residential and day centre, a partnership between English Churches Housing Group and Maidstone Christian Care, provides a much-needed resource for the people of Maidstone, addressing the growing problem of homelessness.The brief was to design a building that would offer a combination of excellent day centre facilities for those in need, as well as appropriate accommodation, with support, for homeless people.
