Adya Saran

  • Studios: Architecture
  • Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • Qualifications: BArch MArch

Adya was attracted to architecture by its power to influence our lifestyles. After completing her Bachelor in Architecture degree, she spent 2 years working on high-rise residential and mixed-use projects in India, which gave her profound understanding of the relationship between space and its users.

In 2021, she came to the UK for her Master of Architecture course at the Manchester School of Architecture. Her strong interest in computational design, sustainability, and people-centred design, motivated her to pursue the [CPU]ai module offered by the university, during which, she structured her thesis project ‘Is it possible to achieve Zero-Carbon cities?’. Through this project, she explored design solutions to complex problems that exist within Manchester’s urban realm. Her project focused on increasing user engagement towards pedestrian movement, and minimising energy consumption, as a means of introducing carbon reduction within the city. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge in this field.

Since graduation, she has gained a year of experience in the residential and healthcare sector in London, and has now joined L E  P. She is excited to bring in her skills to the company, and looks forward to gaining invaluable knowledge.
