Matt Hayes

Matt joined Lee Evans in Matt joined Lee Evans in 1998, becoming a Partner in 2005. He has extensive experience of working in a number of sectors, including community, commercial, and office developments, but his particular focus is on the educational sector, where he has been involved in projects from pre-school provisions, to SEND, Primary and Secondary schools and FE colleges.

Acting as Design Champion on numerous occasions, he had lead stakeholder engagement workshops in his capacity as a CABE enabler and as a member of the DENK Enabling Programme has provided mentoring roles for both the Kent Architecture Centre and various local planning authorities.

In 2022 Matt became a Fellow of The Royal Society of the Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce (‘RSA’). Fellowships are granted to individuals that the RSA deems to have made outstanding contributions to social progress and development.
