Catching Lives Charity Quiz
Lee Evans Partnership’s fourth annual Charity Quiz in support of local charity, Catching Lives, was held at Westgate Hall on the evening of Friday, 9th March 2018.
As ever, the quiz evening was an amazing success, with funds, awareness and support raised for Catching Lives, who work tirelessly to help the homeless and vulnerably housed in and around Canterbury.
Total Raised
We are delighted to confirm that following Friday’s light-hearted quiz evening, we can add a further £2,300 to the fundraising pot. This brings our total donations for the charity since we started supporting them some four years ago to almost £16,500!
2018 Winners
The winning team this year was the ironically named ‘Bringing up the Rear’, hosted by our very own Associate Partner, Darren James. Darren and his team very graciously donated the winners’ cash prize of £150 directly back to Catching Lives; a very kind gesture for which both we and the Charity were extremely grateful.
Narrowly missing out on the top spot, and just three points shy of the winners, was the team from WW Martin, with last years winners, accountants Kreston Reeves, joining the top three.
Thanks…
We would also like to send thanks to all those who attended the evening to support us and Catching Lives. We also send our sincere gratitude to those who kindly donated prizes for our raffle. These include; Jenner Contractors; Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce; The Marlowe Theatre; The Gulbenkian; Shepherd Neame and Harwood Building Control, as well as prizes donated by the Partners and staff here at Lee Evans Partnership.
A special thank you goes out to Blink Architecture, who also supported the event this year, with Matt Reed providing his superb compare services for the evening, and the company Director, Neil Railton, generously donating a fantastic prize for the raffle.
