New Architect Announcement! Congrats Edward!

Edward Qualified
We’re delighted to share that Edward Flores Acuna has qualified as an architect following the completion of his RIBA Part 3 studies at The Bartlett (University College London).

Edward joined LEP in 2022 and has since been developing his skills across a variety of projects while studying alongside practice. Passing Part 3 is a major step in his career journey, and it’s been great to see him combine academic learning with real project experience over the past few years.

During his time with LEP, Edward has shown a strong commitment to both his own learning and to supporting the teams he works with. With guidance and opportunities across the practice, he has grown his expertise, contributed creatively to projects, and approached challenges with curiosity and a mindset focused on learning. With this solid foundation and the continued support of the practice, we’re excited to see Edward build on his experience, knowledge, and technical expertise. We look forward to seeing him take on new challenges and continue growing as an architect.

Of his journey to date, Edward said:

“Qualifying as an architect has been a long but rewarding journey, from my bachelors and master studies in Canterbury through to completing my Part 3 in London. Along the way, I’ve learned a huge amount from colleagues, tutors, and mentors who’ve helped me develop both technically and creatively, and I’ve really enjoyed putting that knowledge into practice at LEP.

“Now that I’m registered, I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my expertise, especially in educational projects, and to contributing to projects that make a positive impact for clients and communities.”

At LEP, we’re proud to support emerging architects as they work through the qualification process, offering mentorship, project opportunities and the encouragement needed to grow. Ed’s achievement highlights the value of that support, and we look forward to helping him – and others coming through the practice – continue their development in the years ahead.
