Liam Smith qualifies as an Architect

Liam Smith

We’re absolutely thrilled to confirm that Liam Smith has successfully completed his RIBA Part III qualifications to be promoted into the role of Architect.  Congratulations, Liam – very well deserved.

Completing his Masters at the Canterbury School of Architecture in 2016, Liam joined the LEP team shortly after in 2017.  In his time with the Practice, he has gained significant knowledge and experience in industry, continually displaying a desire for learning and a clear passion for architectural design.  He is an exceptional team-player and the entire LEP crew is delighted that he has qualified as an architect.

On his achievement, Liam said:

“The journey to qualification was longer than I originally expected, with various factors including the pandemic prolonging my time in education. However, the flexibility of the Part III course at the University of Greenwich was hugely beneficial and I am extremely pleased to be fully qualified, at last!

I have had the opportunity to work on many exciting projects across various sectors during my time so far at LEP, and I’m really excited to work on high quality schemes in the future which will aim to enhance their urban context and engage positively with their users. A huge thanks to all at LEP who have helped me achieve my goal of becoming an Architect!”

Extremely well done Liam – we’re all very proud of the hard work and dedication you have shown in reaching your goals.

Qualifying as an Architect is a long journey, taking many years of hard work and dedication, and at LEP, we have a continuous mentoring programme to support aspiring architects to achieve their qualifications to practice.  We regularly recruit architectural students – so if you’re an aspiring architect or technologist, keep an eye on our recruitment page for the latest job opportunities with our team.
